Dr. Evans spent her first 10 years of life in Chicago, IL, enduring brutal weather and rooting for her Chicago Cubs. From there, her family moved to Palm Harbor, FL, a suburb just outside of Tampa where she grew to love football and her beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She attended the University of Florida for her undergrad in Health Sciences and for her Masters in Physiology. During her time at UF she became a die-hard Florida Gator fan and has carried her orange and blue to the west coast.

As a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program with the Navy, Dr. Evans attended the University of Southern California and decided right away she wanted to end up in Southern California. Upon graduation from her DDS, Dr. Evans spent a year working on recruits at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot here in San Diego. Her Navy career then took her overseas to Iwakuni, Japan where she spent another year with the Marines doing dentistry and traveling all over East Asia.

Upon returning from Japan, Dr. Evans spent 2 years onboard the aircraft carrier CVN 70 (USS Carl Vinson), embarking on 2 West Pac deployments and seeing many amazing countries, including a historic port in Vietnam – the first US aircraft carrier there in 40 years.

After 3 incredible years of overseas adventures, Dr. Evans accepted order to San Diego, CA for shore duty. She is currently the Associate Director for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) for first year dentists in the Navy at the 32nd Street base. She enjoys teaching residents and mentoring them through complex dental cases.

In her spare time, Dr. Evans enjoys traveling, reading and trying new foods. Dr. Evans is married to Dr. Brian Evans, a Navy Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, and together they have 4 amazing children and live here in Encinitas. They are both separating from the Navy this year and look forward to settling into private practice and soaking up family life.
